The Gamechasers Return to Game On Expo

The Gamechasers were guests at the first Game On Expo but I wasn’t familiar with them and so I didn’t attend their panel. Shortly after, I decided to give their Youtube show a watch and was immediately hooked. Fast forward to 2016 and I was glad to see them make a return appearance to Game On Expo. I’m a huge fan of these guys and their work so it was nice to be able to attend their packed panel.

Party In San Diego – The SDCC Unofficial Blog Party

One of the best things about being in San Diego during Comic Con is the amount of parties and fun events going on. I had previously been to Enchantment Under the SDCC which is hosted by the SDCC Unofficial Blog, a party/swag fest where you mingle with fellow readers of the blog. This past year was a bit different because I was actually a part of the party. As some of you may know, I pull double blog duty between my blog as well as the SDCC Unofficial Blog. Being a part of something like Enchantment Under the SDCC during the craziness that is San Diego Comic-Con is pretty surreal. It was a great experience, got to meet some awesome people and most importantly, wore some sweet shoes.

Commissions!

This is the year I tried moving away from signatures to more commissions. I was able to get three done this year which were Silver Surfer by George Perez, Doctor Strange by Mat Nastos, and Wolverine by Joyce Chin. All three are hanging on my comic art wall next to my first commission from a few years ago: Domino by Rob Liefeld.
