Moment #6 – The Nintendo PlayStation

I’ll be honest, before comic books or conventions, my first love was (and in my ways still is) video games. I was writing video game reviews and built a video game website (in HTML mind you) when I was eighth grade just to give you an insight into my video game love history. So when a rare piece of gaming history strolls into Mesa at Game On Expo, I was just a little excited. I won’t go into the whole story but Sony and Nintendo had teamed up to release a cd based Super Nintendo however, it never came to be. The prototype was found recently and is now making the rounds of the retro video game con circuit.

Moment #5 – Crazy For Conan

I couple have done just a top 10 moments from San Diego Comic Con this year because the amount of things you get to do or randomly happen is crazy but I wanted to limit it to some real highlights. Thanks to a generous reader of the SDCC Unoffical Blog, I was given a ticket after I struck out in the Conan lottery. The show was held at the Spreckles Theater which is an amazing theater to experience a show at. The guest at this particular Conan show was a large portion of the cast of The Game of Thrones which saved me an over night camp session to see them in Hall H. This was also my first time attending a late night show recording of any kind which is a cool experience.
