I ran into Jimmy Jay, creator of Amazing Comic Con, at Phoenix Comicon this past weekend and asked him about his upcoming show in Vegas this month.

We talked for a few minutes but before I left he told me the first set of guests had been posted for Amazing Arizona Comic Con! I’m a huge fan of the convention and as soon as I got home I checked it out.

In case you’re not familiar with Amazing Arizona Comic Con, it’s a convention that celebrates the creators, writers and artists of comics that have helped shape our current day pop culture. Don’t expect many media guests here, it’s all about comics.

The first set of guests announced are Greg Capullo, Steve McNiven, Len Wein, Mark Bagley and George Perez.

Some big time names there folks.

Amazing Arizona Comic Con will be held February 13-15 at the Phoenix convention center.
