The only news from the convention scene lately has been pretty much filled with cancelled conventions and rescheduled dates. Well, someone thought it was time to change that and announced a brand new convention.
Arizona Fan Fest was announced recently and it will be taking place April 23-25, 2021. It’s being held at the Manor House Convention Center in Safford, Arizona. Safford is approximately 2.5 hours SouthEast of Phoenix.
“We feature the finest comic creators and self-publishers, collectible retailers, and master crafters of everything from jewelry and clothing to unique and wild items for home and work.” This is the description of the convention found on www.arizonafanfest.com. The website also highlights their cosplay contest with the grand prize of $1,000 going to the winner.
Registration for the cosplay contest as well as vendors are currently open. Tickets are $5 per person, per day with children 3 and under free with a paid adult.

I’m confused, I saw where Az Fan Fest is going to be April 2022, then I saw another post it was April 2021 in Stafford, which one is correct.
April 2022 in Safford is correct, the 2021 Arizona Fan Fest in Safford isn’t happening.
