I took a few minutes today to see if I could find any new conventions for the 2020 year and within 60 seconds I stumbled up CosplayCon. This convention has a date of August 8 – 9 at the Phoenix Convention Center which is the same weekend as Game On Expo. While that does seem a little weird, the convention center does have multiple buildings where these two events could be held separately. CosplayCon already has a list of events (as well as the time for each event) that is scheduled to be held at the convention. I’ve reached out for more details on the convention and if I hear back, I will update accordingly.

You can visit their Facebook event page or the website but not many more details are listed. It will be interesting to see if two events can be held with a decent turn out for both at the same venue.
