Summer Is Coming! Game of Thrones Dance Party during Fan Fusion Weekend

UPDATE 5/21: It appears the A Dance With Dragons dance party has been cancelled. You can still get your Game of Thrones party on at Rave of Thrones

Something lacking during Phoenix Fan Fusion is the number of night time events marketed toward con goers that doesn’t actually take place at the convention. Well, The Van Buren is looking to change that with a Game of Thrones Dance Party “A Dance With Dragons” on May 24 at 10PM.

Advanced ticket sales are $8 + fees or at the door they will be $12. This is an 18 + event and tickets available now.

The temps are heating up, but winter is coming to The Van Buren. All of the Phoenix realm is invited to A Dance With Dragons, a Game of Thrones-themed dance party complete with games, live action sword fights, costume contests, photo ops, vendors and more!

The First Men (and women) through the doors will be asked to declare their loyalty to House Stark, Lannister, Tyrell, Martell, Baratheon, Greyjoy or Tully, in order to receive a House sigil to wear for all to see. Bring your maester-level knowledge for Game of Thrones trivia and your golden dragons to spend with the medieval-themed vendors.DJs Hartbreaks and Riot Earp will keep you dancing through the Long Night.The bars will be pouring Cersei’s favorite wines, flagons of ale and specialty cocktails from across the Seven Kingdoms, while our kitchen serves up food fit for a feast.Come dressed as your favorite character or in your favorite GoT shirt, because the show may be coming to a close, but what is dead may never die!
