I was recently asked to do a cost comparison for Phoenix Comicon to other conventions of similar size. Unfortunately, I haven’t been to many of the cons around the country that are comparable (Emerald City Comic Con, C2E2, etc) so this will be a cost comparison of a few conventions here in Arizona and Southern California (I’m not going to compare San Diego, we all know it is just super costly)
Keep in mind a lot of these prices are based on 2014 prices, not all events have announced 2015 yet. Information will be updated accordingly.
Ticket Price
Amazing Comicon offers a few different ticket options, single day passes that run from $25-$35 or a full event pass for $60. You can also use Groupon for discounted tickets. Amazing Arizona also offers VIP packages based on programming they offer which can range from $150-$200. Those prices usually include VIP seating, swag, early line access etc. Kids 10 and under are free with a paying adult.
Parking
Amazing Arizona Comic Con does not offer discounted parking with local parking garages. Depending on the time of the day, you can park at nearby garages anywhere for $10-$20 for the entire day. Parking in downtown Phoenix is free on the weekends (on the street) however it is very limited.

Registration is discounted if you buy a full event pass early which is $30. If you’re buying at the door, a single day will range $15-$20, full event at the door runs $35. No additional ticket types are available and kids 12 and under are free.

Free parking is offered at the Mesa Convention Center.
Ticket Price
Full event tickets will range from $50-$80 (depending on when you purchase) or $90 at the door. Keep in mind, Phoenix Comicon is the only 4 day convention in Arizona. For single day prices, again based on when you buy and for what day, it ranges from $15-$50. Phoenix Comicon does offer a different ticket package, a fast pass full event type that lets you get ahead in lines and early access, these run from $250-$500 based on when you purchase. Kids 2 and under are free, kids ages 3-12 are $10.
Parking
Phoenix Comicon offers a discounted parking rate via its website for a local parking garage, this typically is in the $12 a day range. Non discounted parking near the convention center depends on the time of the day or which day, expect to pay anywhere from $10-$40 for all day parking. Parking in downtown Phoenix is free on the weekends (on the street) however it is very limited.

The least complicated of ticket prices, Tucson Comic Con offers $10 single day tickets or $15 weekend passes. Kids under the age of 12 are free.

Parking at the Tucson Convention Center is $8 a day. Very limited parking on the streets is available as well.

Wondercon offers a $50 full event badge or $15-$25 single day badge based upon which day you want to attend. Kids 12 and under are free.
Parking
Most ACE parking locations near the convention center are $12, overflow parking is also available at the Toy Story Parking lot across from the convention center at $17 a day.
