Hey everyone! I’m back in always sunny Arizona and ready to recap my sixth year at San Diego Comic Con. I rolled into San Diego Wednesday afternoon and went straight to the beach. Did some other things Wednesday night and then Thursday morning rolled around. Got down to the convention center around 4:15am and only had one thing on my agenda, get into the 24 panel.

Well, mission accomplished! I made it into the 4th tent outside of Ballroom 20 which got me into the first 10 rows of the room when it was time to move from the tents to the inside. Kiefer Sutherland talk about shooting 24 in London, returning to the iconic character Jack Bauer, voicing Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, and dinner with his father Donald Sutherland.

After the panel, I made my first appearance on the exhibit floor where I got an autograph from legendary comic artist Neal Adams and then checked out the Batman costume exhibit at the DC booth.

It was time to hit the Hilton Bayfront hotel which is home to the Indigo Ballroom. I got there just in time for the Sony Pictures panel which featured a video from Chris Columbus about his new Adam Sandler movie, Pixels. Next on the panel was director Rob Letterman and actor Jack Black for the movie adaptation of Goosebumps. Movie looked really corny even with the unfinished special effects.

Comedy Central was up next with a Key&Peele panel moderated by Tom Lennon. I’m a fan of the show so this was a pretty entertaining panel for me. After Key&Peele, it was a preview of the new Comedy Central show, Moonbeam City, which is voiced by Rob Lowe, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Forte. Rob Lowe was suppose to be on the panel but wasn’t so a lot of people left the panel, including me.

That wrapped up my panel adventure for Thursday so I spent some more time on the exhibit floor. I ran across Todd McFarlane who was just hanging out with a few fans and talking sports so I took a “selfie” with him. Continued on my adventure of the exhibit floor which netted me a free sketch from Rob Liefeld! He asked me what character and I went with Domino, who doesn’t get enough love. I got to watch him sketch it and it turned out awesome.

That was just about my Thursday at Comic Con, here are more random photos from that day, enjoy!
