Arizona's Guide to conventions and pop culture

Phoenix Comic Fest 2018 Gaming Guide

Gaming is going to be a huge part of Phoenix Comic Fest this year. While tabletop gaming has indeed been moved out of the Hyatt and into the convention center, don’t let that discourage you, plenty of gaming to be had over the course of four days! Phoenix Comic Fest has called in some backup to make sure you get your fill of gaming whether that is arcade/console or table gaming, there should be something for everyone!

Game On Expo

One of the two Game On Expo lounges from Phoenix Comicon 2017

Game On Expo, the local video game convention every August, will be returning to Phoenix Comic Fest and will be putting on a Modern Gaming Free Play area as well as a Retro Video Gaming Free Play area. These areas will be home to various tournaments over the weekend as well as the ability to just hang out and play some of your favorite games with fellow attendees. These two areas are located in the new Esports area of the exhibit floor and will follow the same hours as the exhibit floor every day. For the list of modern game tournaments, click here.
