A little late on this news but if you’re one who likes to book things as early as possible, the hotels for Saboten Con and SaboSlam are open for booking. If Saboten Con is your main focus and not the gaming of SaboSlam, you’ll most likely want to stay at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown like normal. The standard room at the Sheraton is going for $137 a night plus taxes & fees if booking through the appropriate link from Saboten Con (which you can find right here).
If the main attraction for Saboten is the gaming aspect, all of that is being held at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown (or maybe you wanna avoid the elevator situation that attendees complain about ever year it seems). You’ll have a choice between a standard two queen and a standard king, both coming in at $137 a night plus taxes & fees.
I’ve personally stayed at both hotels in the past and I know the Renaissance is two blocks away but I really enjoy the hotel and its offerings. Plus one of my favorite underground bars, Melinda’s Alley is connected to it!
Parking is listed at $35 (valet is also $35) on the Renaissance website and $30 on the Sheraton website ($40 for valet)
