There might not be any traditional comic conventions in Arizona any time soon where you can meet impactful comic creators but Fantastic Worlds is giving you that opportunity. Located in Scottsdale on 90th St and Via Linda (just off the 101), Fantastic Worlds has brought out various comic creators over the years for signing events (I once skipped work so I could meet Joe Jusko a few years back).

This month, Fantastic Worlds has both iconic creators Gerry Conway and Rob Liefeld coming to their store, giving you the opportunity to get some comics and merchandise signed. Gerry will be signing on Saturday, July 10th and Rob will be coming into town Saturday, July 24th. More details below for each signing:

Gerry Conway – creator of The Punisher, Ms. Marvel, Killer Croc, Jason Todd (among others)
Saturday, July 10th from 11AM – 3PM
Admission – $5 (cash only)
Signature – $10 per item (cash only)

Rob Liefeld – Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Deadpool, creator of Deadpool, Cable, X-Froce (among others), co-founder of Image Comics.
Saturday, July 24th from 12PM – 4PM
