On November 4th, a local group known as Con Freaks & Geeks will be participating in the Extra Life program, an event that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This event will be a 24 hour live stream of playing video games, table top games and other shenanigans all in the name of raising money that will go directly to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I have been invited to participate in the live stream (which depends on when I finish up at Tucson Comic Con) but regardless, I wanted to help promote this event because it goes toward helping kids. I have a kid and he is the best thing in my life and I wanted to help kids who have parents that feel the same.
