UPDATE 9/19: Things have gotten a little bit more interesting on this story. The website is back up and the guests have been removed from the Arizona show, now features a “Talent Coming Soon” message. Henry Cavill posted about it on his official FB page and PRNewsWire ran a story about the brothers behind the convention (they come from the Wizard World line of conventions).
UPDATE: The website has since been taken down, was it fake? I guess only time will tell.
Brand new comic conventions are nothing new to Arizona but ones that claim to have the guest list of recently announced Ace Comic Con Arizona is a bit of a shock.
Ace Comic Con is booked for Gila River Arena in Glendale on January 13-15, 2018. Prepare to get your wallets out if you’re a Marvel fan (and IF this is legitimate).
Advertised to attend is Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and Tom Holland among others. Tickets prices are not posted but they are for Ace’s other convention in Long Island where tickets start at $45 for general admission. They do put the disclaimer up that panels are likely not to have any seating for general admission (so you know, fork out the big money for VIP).
