This is kind of cheating but I wanted to combine coverage of San Diego Comic-Con with my annual series of video game articles for Game On Expo. On Thursday, July 20th at the Indigo Ballroom, Sounds of Sonic played nearly 40 minutes of live music from various Sonic the Hedgehog titles. The concert initially appeared on the online program guide but was removed, never be to be put back on and was missing from the SDCC app as well. It was however in the print program guide but attendance for the concert was small because of the lack of attendee knowledge on the event.
I try to go to nearly every video game concert I can and was glad to be able sit front row for a trip down memory lane and I am able to share some of the music with you! Enjoy the music and I will be back in a few days with another video game related article leading up to Game On Expo which takes place August 11 – 13 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
