Welcome back to another edition of Arizona Conventions Update, its been awhile since I’ve been able to post one of these. With this update, we’ll be bringing you news on Game on Expo, Keen Halloween, Phoenix Comicon, and more!
- Game On Expo recently announced that vendor tables are on sale via their website. It is first come, first served on the vendor tables so if you’re interested, don’t delay.
They also announced some of their guests for their convention in August. Already posted are several guests which include the return of YouTube shows The Game Chasers and The Gaming Historian.
- Keen Halloween is returning after a few year hiatus this time, teaming up with Phoenix Comicon. The Halloween con will be held September 24 and 25 at the Phoenix Convention Center. The event is put on by Steam Crow and you can check out the site here. Expect to hear a little bit more about Keen Halloween soon here on Legion of Sand.
- The Phoenix Comicon machine is in full gear as they have announced more guests for the con in June. You can expect to see Caity Lotz (White Canary on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Mark Pellegrino (various roles on Dexter, Supernatural, and Lost), Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man, and more! - Zapcon is offering a discounted hotel rate at the adjacent Phoenix Marriott Mesa. If you’re not close to the Mesa Convention Center but want to attend both days, this is a real good option. You can get a few more details here .
