This past Saturday at 699 S Mill Ave Suite 201 in Tempe was the grand opening of Endgame, the newest bar on Mill that caters to the ever growing community of gamers and connoisseurs of pop culture.
The bar has been holding “beta tests” for the past several months until the bar acquired its liquor license. The grand opening consisted of raffles, drinks specials, a cosplay contest, and most importantly video games!
I indulged in a variety of games: Mario Kart (SNES), Mortal Kombat (Arcade), Typing of the Dead (Dreamcast), Soul Calibur IV (PS3), and Super Smash Bros Melee (Gamecube). A buddy of mine that came with spent almost two hours playing Titanfall on Xbox One. Needless to say, there is a WIDE variety of consoles and games to choose from.
The bar has a few choices for food as well as a menu of drink specials and shots that are video game themed. My next trip to Endgame I will make sure to try one or two. If you’re remotely into video games, I suggest checking out Endgame for yourself and make sure to bring your 3DS for your Street Passes! Check out their Facebook for more info.
