Last night was the soft opening for Mesa’s retro arcade, StarFighters Arcade. The event was from 7P-11P, which will be the normal hours of operation on Fridays and Saturdays (the only days it is open).
StarFighters houses about 50-70 games made up of mostly older games like Donkey Kong, Centipede, and Space Invaders though you will find “newer” games like Street Fighter II (on top of a few pinball machines if that’s what you’re into).
The arcade has been put together by the Phoenix Arcade Collectors Club and if you’re an owner or collector, you can also use the location to buy and sell arcades from other owners.
