Happy New Year first of all! Hopefully with the holidays over I can spend some more time updating the blog and tweeting a bit more (@LegionOfSand)!

We are just a few weeks away from what is shaping up to be a huge Amazing Arizona Comic Con here in Phoenix.

Last year was my first time at the event and for a smaller convention, I really I enjoyed it. It looks to be on the up and up with some great comic book guests.

On that list of guests besides special guest Robert Kirkman is Geoff Johns (who is like Mr. DC at the moment), Rob Liefeld, Marc Silvestri, Kyle Higgins, and many more. Bring those comics folks, plenty of autograph opportunities.

For fans of cosplay, big timers Jessica Nigri and fresh off her stint on Heroes of Cosplay, Monika Lee will be appearing at the show.

What about media guests you ask? What about Danai Gurira, better known as the character Michonne from The Walking Dead on AMC.

Badge sales are going on now and every badge purchased comes with a Walking Dead variant issue.

I’m pretty stoked for the convention this year and hope to see you there!
