I returned to San Diego Comic Con for the fifth year last week. This year was a bit different for me and only attended one day.
The one day wasn’t nearly enough! I attended on Thursday and got to do everything on my agenda, which wasn’t much, meet Robert Kirkman and attend the Dexter panel in Hall H.
The exhibit floor was rearranged a bit this year to eliminate major crowding which seemed to work. Unfortunately SDCC is still all about waiting in lines and just when you think you’re done with a line, you find yourself in another.
I didn’t see nearly as many as cosplayers in years past which could be in part to the extreme difficulty of acquiring badges.
The real surprise of the convention is the insane amount of events going on outside. If you don’t have a badge to the con you could still enjoy the entire weekend doing things outside of the convention.
Hope to see you next year!
