It is officially August and that means Saboten Con kicks off at the end of the month. Now for everyone’s (least) favorite topic, parking! Like everything else in life, parking costs continue to rise in Downtown Phoenix so finding the cheapest option so you can splurge on another art print of your senpai is so important.
Using parkphx.com it looks like there are a couple of options:
Option 1: The Arizona Center which is basically across the street from Sheraton has a 24 hour parking garage that you can reserve ahead of time comes out to either $23 or $25 after fees depending on which day you are purchasing for.
Option 2: The Phoenix Convention Center West Garage can also be reserved but be warned, sometimes the convention center will refund your pre-payment and not have the garage open for the day. It also closes at 11PM so it’s only option if you are not staying past that time. That comes to $21.50 after fee per day.
Not on the parkphx.com site but I’ve heard is an option is the ASU parking garage located literally next door to the Sheraton that runs from $16 – $20 a day but cannot be reserved ahead of time. I’ve never used the garage myself but I know others have mentioned being able to use it specifically for Saboten.
There are some additional options such as parking meters and smaller parking lots that you can find for cheaper but those don’t typically have a pre-reservation option.
