Last year was the first year of Game On Expo utilizing the North Building of the Phoenix Convention Center. With that came a little bit of some growing pains as the security entrance into the convention on the first day stretched pretty far with multiple hours of waiting. By the end of Friday, more metal detectors had been delivered by the contracted security business, Pride Group.

This year, it looks like Game On Expo is planning for that same long lines with an announced two security check points: 3rd St and Washington / 3rd St and Monroe. These are the main cross streets on both sides of the convention center shown here.

This should help ensure a repeat of last yearā€™s Day 1 doesnā€™t happen again (canā€™t say with 100% certainty but this is surely a good start).
