This just might be a “me” problem but after attending conventions in Arizona, the majority of the guests we get at the various events are typically guests I have seen once or twice before. This is why I am excited for what UwU Con has in store for attendees (again) this year. They are bringing out a handful of Japanese guests who all voice characters that range from popular to wildly popular. This is on top of last year where they had guests such as Ryō Horikawa, the voice of Vegeta from the Dragon Ball series and Nobutoshi Canna, the voice of Guts from Berserk.

I’d love to see some our conventions in Arizona bring out guests from Japan who represent some of the most popular anime and video games more often but post Covid, we haven’t seen that much as we use to. Regardless, UwU is leading the way with four guests this year as part of their Otaku Pass. According to the UwU Con website, “An Otaku Pass is the ONLY way to meet our Japanese voice actors and get their signatures. There is a limited number of Otaku Passes available each day for each guest, which means if you want to meet these incredible actors…buy your Otaku Pass before they sell out!

The Otaku Pass varies in price for each guest (and the details of what can be/can’t be signed can be found on this page) and includes two items to be signed. UwU Con moves to its new location this year, WestWorld at Scottsdale on November 1 – 3. On top of the four previously mentioned guests, the convention has quite the guest lineup highlighted by the voice of SpongeBob, Tom Kenny.
