I love video game soundtracks just as much as the video games itself so I am pretty pumped for the latest announcements coming from Game On Expo for their convention in March. First up is a band made up of some heavy hitters including David Wise (yes, the one responsible for THAT Donkey Kong Country banger) and Grant Kirkhope (Goldeneye 007, Banjo-Kazooie) will be joining forces and presenting Video Games Rock at Game On Expo. This concert will be made up of some of the most popular tracks from the list of games they have worked on in the past and will happen Saturday night on March 16. The group is joined by video game industry vets Kevin Bayliss and David Doak.

Also announced for the March 15 – 17 event will be Mega Ran who is no stranger to Game On Expo. Mega Ran performs his original “chip-hop” tracks that are influenced by some of the biggest video games from years past.
